Last week I finally got a chance to scrapbook for me! Here are some I did. I have not been too thrilled with my work lately, I guess I need to do it more often to get back into it.




Today was my sil's baby shower and I made this....well dh helped me a lot too!:)

4 months

My baby is 4 months old today! I can't even believe it. He is getting too big too fast.

He had his 4 month visit today and had some more shots. He was super fussy all day, this was the best picture we could get.
SOme things he is doing these days are:
*rolling over
*holds his own bottle with two hands
*loves to put his hands or anything he can grab into
his mouth - as you can tell by the photo
*sleeps 8 hours most nights
*still doesn't really like tummy time
Tomorrow we are going to introduce him to cereal. We went shopping today and got ready!

He has been starring us down when we eat so I think he is going to like it. Saturday my brother thought it would be funny to give him a cookie, well he just put it by his mouth but he right away put his lips down. He just got a few crumbs.

Baby Book

For the last two weeks I have been up late scrapping. I made a baby book for my dear friend who is expecting her first baby boy! Her and her husband had tried for a few years and were finally blessed with a healthy pregnancy! We are so happy for them. I made an 8.5x8.5 album for her with 28 pages! I went to her shower over the weekend and she loved it! I remembered late the night before to take pictures so I had to do them inside and they are horrible. Anyway here are a few of my favorites, I won't bore you with all of them!









And one simple one of my little guy!


And lastly, one year ago my brother got married in Maui! We were all there with him, it was a great trip and I wish I was there now. It is such a beautiful place, I can't wait to go back someday! Happy Anniversary Eric and Nicole!

New pages

Last night I finally scrapped for me. I stayed up the night before working on some gifts that I can't share yet. I kept these simple as I have a huge pile that is growing. I will try to work on more tonight. Have a great night.

3 months

Yes it's true my baby is 3 months old today! I can't even believe how fast time has gone by! Here are a few pictures from today...we went to lunch today with my parents at Downtown Disney and afterwards walked around and took pictures!




We have been very busy around here, seems like we have been doing something everyday. But I finally finished my classroom and school started yesterday so I am relieved that I am done with that. I have a great sub and am happy that she is willing to work through conferences for me! But with school starting it means my friends and my mom are back to work so Daniel and I will not have anyone to hang out with. I am going to try to enjoy each day with him before I must go back to work but I don't want to think about that just yet! Ok enough rabbling!

Have a great Labor Day weekend! We are going out to see Lisa Lampanelli tomorrow night and a bbq Monday at my brothers! Enjoy!

bad blogger!

I have been horrible about blogging lately. During the day it seems I have just enough time to check e-mails and then the baby needs me. So here it goes...
Last week Daniel turned two months old! Wow, where did the time go?? It seems like I was just in the hospital. Well kinda! So he is now weighing in at 13lbs 14oz and 24 1/2 inches long! A big guy! He had a few shots that day and cried!! He didn't like them and mommy didn't like to see her baby cry either! Later that day since dh was home we headed to the fair with my bil&sil. The guys both had the day off for dr's appointments so we thought it would be a good day for the fair too. On the way there we missed a 5.4 earthquake! We kept getting calls to see if we were ok. Good thing we missed it. My dad actually wanted to come over to check on us because I wasn't answering the phone! SO here are a few photos from the day. We ate mostly! But also walked around a little.

Ok so I love the fair only for it's funnel cakes! Really! And guess what? I didn't even have one. We ate so much greasy junk that we felt sick and didn't want anymore! But on our way to drop off my bil&sil we decided to stop at Yogurtland! It's our new fav when we visit them!! It's a genious idea! Wish I thought of it! Yay for scrappin time

I have been staying up last the last few nights and got 3 los done this week!

A few new los!

I decided to start working on some of Daniel's pictures this week. While he slept during the day I worked on these. I had to take many breaks and even leave them out for a few days but they got done!



Daniel is growing so fast! He is already 7 weeks old! I can't believe how fast time has gone by. This week he has slept really good at night(knock on wood)! I hope it continues! I will leave you with a silly picture I took of him at H&M trying on some new shades! I had to put them on him and luckily I had my camera! And yes Michelle he was asleep! :)

Happy Anniversary to us!

Today Joe and I are celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary! I can't believe how fast time has gone by. I remember everything about that special day like it was yesterday! We are going out to eat tonight to celebrate!

Happy 4th of July!!!

Hope you are having a fun and safe 4th of July! We are relaxing at home today. Yesterday we went to the city celebration at the park with Michelle and her family. We pretty much went there to eat!!! lol We ate little bit of everything and watched Alyson do a craft and came home. At about 9:15 we went outside and watched the fireworks, they were much easier to see than we thought! Here is a picture of little Daniel in his first 4th of July outfit!


He had a great night sleeping last night and has been up so long today! I hope that means he'll be tired tonight! Tomorrow we may venture down to the beach for a short walk.

A new lo and an update

Well I finally got a chance to do a lo! I have been wanting to scrap these pictures so I started with them.

I have tons of baby pictures printed already so I want to start a baby page next.

Daniel is one month old today!! He is getting so big so fast! He is getting chubby cheeks and legs for sure!! FOr the most part he is sleeping and waking up about every 2 hours during the night. During the day he has periods when he is awake and very alert! Here are a few new pictures!

Daniel's announcement

This is the announcement we sent out thanks to my wonderful friend Michelle! Thanks again!

He's here!!

Daniel Joseph was born on May 29,2008. He was a big baby, he weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long. We are doing really well and he is eating and sleeping well. So far we feel lucky that he has been so easy!
This picture is at the hospital and he was only a day old.

Yesterday my wonderful friend Michelle L. came over and did her magic with her camera! She took some amazing pictures of Daniel for us and even was nice enough to make my announcement! Thanks again Michelle! I can't stop looking at these photos, the are so professional looking!

A new lo!

I can't believe it but I scrapped yesterday! I wanted to do two pages but I ran out of time before my dr.s appointment. I was cleaning out pictures and putting some away in my regular album when I found this picture and decided I wanted to scrap it right away. I feel like I am behind with scrapping pictures and it's only going to be worse with the baby being born very soon.

I think that Wild Asparagus paper is about 2 years old! I think it turned out pretty good though for how fast I threw it together.

So when I finished I went to the Dr.'s and she seems to think that Daniel will make his appearance some time this weekend. Everyone has asked me how does she know, I don't know but she's the dr. so I guess she has done this a few times! :) I am about 2-3 cm. she said. I have to get some things done around here today and hopefully tomorrow! Today I am going to work on my report cards so I can e-mail them to my sub. And then maybe scrap another page!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

I hope all you mom's and mommies to be have a wondeful Mother's Day! Joe came home with 2 bouquets of flowers for me today and an outfit for baby! We also went to see the movie What happens in Vegas. We had no idea what it was going to be about but it was pretty funny! It was a good pick considering we had no idea what was playing. We are celebrating with both our mom's tomorrow!

This week I had an ultrasound and baby is measuring at 6.5 pounds! YIKES! I about freaked when she told us. But he is head down which surprised me, I didn't think he was yet. Yesterday my dr told me that he is measuring big but after checking me she thinks he will be early, like in two more weeks! So needless to say this will be my last week at work. I hope he can wait till after this week is over! :)

Here is my last photo taken at 35 weeks and 2 days. It was at the community center for Joe's grandpa's 75th birthday party last weekend! I was being a little silly! :)

One month to go!!!

Yikes! My due date is in one month! I can't believe it! We are slowly getting things ready. The bassinet is together and his carseat is out of the box, just not in the car yet! I have been washing and putting his clothes away. Here are a few pictures from my shower from two weeks ago. It turned out very nice and I got lots of fun stuff!

My sister in law made this diaper cake, it made with all diapers and other baby goodies. I want to make her one, she is expecting in early November.
